With the fix in https://su.etere.com/incident/303667 has been set by default the (mdl_objPlaylist as IMProps).PropsSet('object::audio.stretching', 'true'); to have the audio stretched according to the playback speed.
The following registry keys are also involved:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Medialooks\MPlatform\MFile\audio.variable_rate
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Medialooks\MPlatform\MPlaylist\
audio.variable_rate
If set to true (default), it
makes the audio adapt to the playback speed by modifying the audio frequency. It makes the audio sound funny at fast playback and heavy at slow playback.
If set to false,
there are no changes in the audio frequency, only the audio speed adapts to the playback speed.
Note: In Windows 10, you must turn OFF the “Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them” option, otherwise it won't be impossible to use the mousewheel to set the shuttle.
