The recommended Blackmagic Design (BMD) driver version for the latest Medialooks SDK (2.11.1) is 15.1.

⚠ Important Compatibility Notice:
Starting with Medialooks SDK 2.9.2.14161, BMD SDK 14.5 is required. This version is not backward-compatible.
If you're using SDK version 2.9.2.14159 or earlier, please consider using BMD driver 14.2 to ensure stability and compatibility.

UPDATE: On 18/09/2026, Medialooks version 2.12.0.14692 has been implemented in Etere, starting from 36.1.461.9555 (ref. ticket: 377648). This is what Medialooks suggests about BMD drivers:
"In general, the Video SDK should work without any issues with the latest BMD driver version (16.4). However, most of our customers are using driver version 16.0.1. So we consider 16.0.1 to be the most thoroughly tested version."
