Etere Ftpexec (i.e. ftpexec.exe) is a full-featured command-line tool for data transfer; it supports classical FTP operations, including the upload, download, server-to-server and UDT transfers (i.e. mixed-mode Etere FTP/EDT data transfer).
Etere Ftpexec is the same as a multistep copy, but it is performed via FTP, useful for improving transfer between K2 and PDR devices.
Supported commands
The current version (i.e. 3.0) of Etere Ftpexec supports the following command-line options for manual execution:
-h - write this to help
-i - if used, add IPC capabilities (abort and completion %)
-f???? - writes a report log in the specified file
-g - appends the report; else file is overwritten

-x195.120.23.36 -y?? -z?? -l/myfile
•Copy multiple files using a server to server and write a log file
ftpexec -as -s195.120.23.35 -uanonymous -p000 -r/FILE1,/FILE2
-x195.120.23.36 -ymovie -z
-lV:/MXF/default/FILE1,V:/MXF/default/FILE2 -f"y:\ftpexec.log"
•Download a single file to a local path using EDT
ftpexec -ag -s195.120.23.35 -u?? -p?? -r/subdir/file1 -lc:\file1
ftpexec -ag -x195.120.23.35 -y?? -z?? -l/subdir/file1 -rc:\file1
•Upload a file to a remote destination using EDT
ftpexec -ap -s195.120.23.35 -u?? -p?? -r/subdir/file1 -lc:\file1
ftpexec -ap -x195.120.23.35 -y?? -z?? -l/subdir/file1 -rc:\file1
Logs of execution
During execution, the clients write a series of detailed messages on what's going on and, once finished, display the final result and also a set of measurements that can be used to evaluate if EDT is a better option than classical FTP:
