How to use it

To create a MPEG 2 Omneon MXF transcoding action, just set the mxfomneon.bat batch file (which can be changed to meet individual requirements) under the 'Batch file to use for transcoding' field present in the 'Process settings' tab.
Important Note
The Etgraphcoding.exe file is the executable used to encode MXF files; this file is launched via command-line in the format:
Etgraphcoding.exe <source file> <target file> /X: <target asset type> /V: <video stream index> /A: <audio stream index> /P: <wmv profile name>
where the mentioned parameters means:
•<source file> : The original file to be encoded,
•<target file> : The name used for the encoded file,
•/X:<target_asset_type> : Use either the MPG1or the WMV profile,
•/V:<video_stream_index> : Index of the video stream to encode (1-based),
•/A:<audio_stream_index> : Index of the audio stream to encode (1-based),
•/P:<wmv_profile_name> : Name of the windows media profile to be used in case of using the WMV target asset type.
For instance, a sample command line is: EtGraphCoding.exe "C:\Video-Archive\777.mxf" "C:\Video-Archive\777.wmv" /X:WMV /P:500KLOWRES
NB: In case of error, the process log will be saved in the Etere installation folder (e.g.: C:\Program Files\Etere\<usernumber>\)  as graphcoding.etgraphcoding.<usernumber>.<pcname>.log
