HOW TO CONFIGURE 3RD PARTY DEVICES

21.9 ETRHOZETMERGE.exe

The etRhozetMerge.exe executable allows to attach a "head clip" (e.g. black frame) and a "tail clip" (e.g. black frame) to a media clip; this, by generating an XML file containing all the parameters required by the transcoder for attaching the head and tail clips:
The etRhozetMerge.exe file is launched by Etere through a command-line based on the following format:
"c:\program files\etere\etRhozetMerge.exe" "LogFile=%1" "profile=%2" "xml=%3" "output=%4" "file1=%5" "file2=%6" "file3=%7"
•LogFile: This -optional- parameter is related to the path and name of the log file (e.g. "LogFile=c:\black.log")
•Profile: The GUID Profile to be used by the transcoder for encoding the merged file (e.g. "Profile={E10E642E-A959-4358-8FB1-9DBC87260E1A}")
•Xml: The path and name of the XML file to be used by the transcoder (e.g. "Xml=c:\aggiunginero.XML")
•Output: The path and name -without extension- of the merged file formed by the head, main and tail clips (e.g. "Output=c:\spotnew")
•File1: The path and name of the head clip (e.g. "File1=c:\headblack.mpg")
•File2: The path and name of the file to which the head and tail clips will be attached (e.g. "File2=c:\spot.mpg")
•File3: The path and name of the tail clip (e.g. "File3=c:\tailblack.mpg")
A command line for this executable can look, for instance, as the example below:
"c:\program files\etere\etRhozetMerge.exe" "LogFile=c:\test.log" "profile={E10E642E-A959-4358-8FB1-9DBC87260E1A}" "xml=c:\dawn.xml" "output=C:\dawn.wmv" "file1=C:\61124LQ.wmv" "file2=C:\114815LQ.wmw" "file3=C:\215195LQ.wmv"
